GH Live is dead and Rock Band 4 requires a 300 dollar adapter to play with instruments, just play YARG instead

Holy Wow!
Not that it matters, because today is objectively the best time to get into these games. There's /r/CloneHero (with working leaderboards through ScoreSpy), Milohax, who is a modding group that makes quality-of-life mods for GH 2 and Rock Band games (even compatible with original hardware), WT Definitive Edition, the brand-new and rapidly improving YARG... It's quite amazing how much there is now.
