Made a simple script that takes the battery level of a DualSense controller and shows it as a tray icon
I've been using dualsensectl for a while, but I wanted to have the battery info for my controllers at a glance, instead of having to go to the terminal. So, with a bit of guidance from ChatGPT, I made a shell script that takes the battery level of a connected DualSense controller and outputs it on the tray via the xfce4-genmon plugin. It also powers off the controller when you click on the battery percentage number.

Overclocking controller
When I overclock my controller my frames drop significantly. I hold a stable 240 frames normally, however when I use https://github.com/LordOfMice/hidusbf overclock with a PS5 Dualsense controller it stutters my frames to 30 every now and then. I'm running a 2080 with a i9-9900k if that matters. Any solutions?

Current mouse doesn't work but other mice work fine on my pc
I was trying to play Elden Ring but every time i moved my mouse it caused huge fps drop. So I searched for a solution. I came across this reddit post. From which i decided to change the mouse polling rate. I couldn't find a program specifically made for my mouse so i find a third party one from github. I did everything it said in the correct order but my mouse doesn't work anymore. When i connect it to the pc, its lights turn on for about 10 seconds then go back off. Other mice work fine. it is just this one i tried on.
