Mod Compatibility?
As for third-party mods, in general you need to look for a mod that has both DDA and BN versions, because for most content the JSON drifts too much for them to be compatible. All of my mods for example have BN and DDA versions where required, as do Noctifer's Cataclysm++ mod and DN's Mining Mod.

How do I make a skybridge between building roofs?
There really aren't many unofficial mods, because the game is open source and so people tend to just add to the game directly. The two big mods I recommend that live outside the default repo are Arcana (magic that fits the vanilla tone a bit better than Magiclysm) and Noct's Cata Mod aka Cata++ (super soldiers and a special boss monster that gives me Resident Evil vibes).

spawns with multiple npc ideas.
Cata++ has a similar scenario. The "Slave Fighter Freedom" scenario starts you in an arena will several other NPC augmented gladiators. The Red Team starts hostile and the Blue Team will join your faction without a skill check, giving you a guaranteed NPC army. Unless you get them all killed, I guess.

Suggested Mods?
Stamina Regen Balance. Running out of stamina no longer fucks you over in BN like it does in DDA, but there's still an issue with stamina balancing inherited from DDA. Basically, max stamina and the cost for most actions got increased by a large amount back in the day, but stamina regen rate was increased by a MUCH smaller amount, so net stamina regen during mild activities like walking is in a very fragile balance.

Changes/tweaks that you do to make the game more fun.
Stamina Regen Balance. While BB's handling of low stamina is a lot better than DDA's, it still inherited an annoying disparity between how much stamina costs for actions were increased vs. how much stamina regen rate was increased.

I need advice on a high speed/stamina build.

MST_Extra_Mod - Mod for Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead and Cataclysm: Bright Nights, the intended successor to More Survival Tools mod
Community-Mod-Compilation-redux - Welcome to TheGoatGod's Mod Compilation. Currently contains just under 400 mods, not including mainline mods, 14 maintained mods, 50 rebalance mods, 22 legacy mods, 2 tile sets(legacy working but lacks a lot of new items etc...), 49 NO Mods, 8 sound packs. It is currently, at 0.2.2. not entirely bug-free, but it is undergoing constant improvements, should soon be bug-free. Many changes are planned for the future, consolidating mods to reduce the amount of excess and cleaning up the code (even more!).
cdda-tankmod-revived-mod - The official replacement to my old Tanks And Other Vehicles mod, for Catacylsm DDA.
PKs_Rebalancing - This fork aims to fix the immediate errors in the sparsely maintained mod, as well as add some rebalancing for the more 'hardcore' features of the mod. In case you don't want the rebalancing, the vanilla-errorfixed branch should serve you well. Credit for initial error fixes goes to /u/dissociativity of the Cataclysm discourse forum.
CDDA_Nonperishable_Overhaul - Nonperisable Overall Mod for Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead
mining-mod - Archive of Mining Mod, for Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead
