Caniwebview.com – Like Caniuse but for Webviews
what is the webview here, is it the webview librariers on each platform instead of the browser?
I tried to do some UIs with OS specific webviews and it's kind of lacking, so I ended up with EletronJS in the end which contains a full blown browser, but it's resource hungry.
https://github.com/webui-dev/webui is another light weight option, it is a thin layer to provide you with a cross platform UI, and invokes browser to render everything, it's small yet has all the features of a true browser.
- WebUI – lightweight WebView with Multi-language back end and full OS API access

Use any web browser as GUI, with Zig in the back end and HTML5 in the front end
It's not confidence-inspiring that https://webui.me throws security warnings. I'd want folks to make applications "that make applications" to take security a little more seriously.

Can I get a good job as a c++ developer, if so which jobs can I expect to find?
Would creating a Fortran module to use WebUI as GUI be worth it? Is there a need for GUI libraries in Fortran, or not many?

Did you hear about using the web browser as GUI?
The result is pretty good! Take a look at the implementation in the WebUI open-source project.

Ten-year experience in DBMS testing
In 2020, we added support for synchronous replication and MVCC. We had to test this functionality, so we decided to write some tests powered by Jepsen framework. We check consistency by analyzing the transaction history. But the story about testing with Jepsen is big enough for a separate article, so we'll talk about it next time.
What are some alternatives?
webview - Tiny cross-platform webview library for C/C++. Uses WebKit (GTK/Cocoa) and Edge WebView2 (Windows).
luatest - Tarantool test framework written in Lua
Flux - Successor: https://github.com/fluxcd/flux2

luaunit - LuaUnit is a popular unit-testing framework for Lua, with an interface typical of xUnit libraries (Python unittest, Junit, NUnit, ...). It supports several output formats (Text, TAP, JUnit, ...) to be used directly or work with Continuous Integration platforms (Jenkins, Maven, ...).
awx - AWX provides a web-based user interface, REST API, and task engine built on top of Ansible. It is one of the upstream projects for Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.
