If it's just for yourself, rclone is open source and supports encrypting files on any (cloud) storage, so presumably the costs would be those connected to the storage. You could even use an existing (unencrypted) cloud storage, but of course setting up your own and connecting to it over e.g., sshfs is also possible. There's even RCX, and rclone implementation for Android for a mobile client.
