Interesting article, thanks for posting. I will mention that https://github.com/JMcKiern/vim-venter is nice because unlike zen-mode and similar plugins, it will center more than one buffer, so if you have two files you are working on (code and test file, etc).

Side-note: Reviewing a Github PR fullscreen drives me insane because new files are all focused on the far left side. I was surprised https://github.com/refined-github/refined-github doesn't have something to fix this out of the box.
