Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Are there any Combined Moderation and Versioning Packages?
I therefore went ahead and looked at this package: https://github.com/mpociot/versionable which is more for keeping track of versions. It doesn't however support the moderation aspect of things but I might be able to work with it due to it's simplicity and handy diff functionality.
