    Primo is a visual CMS with a built-in code editor, Svelte blocks, and static site generator.

    • Check out Primo it’s FOSS & easy for nontechnical content editors, but you won’t be able to use Hugo with it

  • SilverStripe

    Silverstripe CMS - this is a module for Silverstripe Framework rather than a standalone app. Use https://github.com/silverstripe/silverstripe-installer/ to set this up.

    • How about SilverStripe. It is a good developer experience, but has a really good admin GUI out of the box. Not something you can host on S3 (just like other suggestions)

    A Git-based CMS for Static Site Generators

    • If you've got the content in .md and .json files and you just need a way to add or modify that content, I would recommend you look into decap CMS (formerly netlify CMS)
