how 2 fix this
You could check where you downloaded "the non perishable mod" from, and see if there's a newer version. It's not in-repo, I googled it and checked Chaosvolt's Nonperishable Overhaul and that mod shouldn't be giving you this error because it doesn't touch seeds or raw mushrooms. How am I supposed to know if there's a newer version if I don't know when you downloaded it or from where? You know those things, you go check.

Preparation for Winter - The Art of Cow Butchering and Meat Preservation
There is also a Non-Perishable Overhaul mod that makes dehydrated meat permanent, like flour, without needing further processing. Not sure how updated it is.

Suggested Mods?
Nonperishable Overhaul. Simple mod that tweaks a lot of food that used to never expire back to lasting forever. Reasoning is given in the readme, but basic gist is that letting perishable components translate into perishable-but-longer-lasting products has some major bugs that still persist in both DDA and BN.

Changes/tweaks that you do to make the game more fun.
Nonperishable Overhaul. This makes a lot of food items that used to last forever go back to behaving that way, because it fixes a lot of fucky behavior that BN inherited from DDA.
-
Mods you recommend to make the game more fun?
Nonperisble Overhaul and Stamina Regen Buff mod are minor QoL mods that counter some gameplay changes that can undermine playability for some people.

Any mods that put you in a proper medieval setting (doesn’t have to be accurate)
Found something that looks interesting https://github.com/chaosvolt/cdda_medieval_mod_reborn

Pending BN update: shields can finally interact with ranged attacks (and a few shields in vanilla to use that with)
Wooden shield, imported from my mod Medieval Mod Reborn with some adjustments and JSON modernization. Bit encumbering, mid-tier blocking plus 90% base coverage means it will have the lowest chance of incidentally helping against shots hitting other parts, but decent thickness on par with 2-by-4 arm/leg guards. Can be crafted without any hassling with books since it's not based on any historical design.

Warning! We are planning to remove dead obsoleted mods!
Medieval and Historic Classes and Shields has a successor in the form of Medieval Mod Reborn.
- How to access game files?
-
Suggested Mods?
Medieval Mod Reborn. Again, this is the successor to my old obsolete Medieval And Historic Content mod. Adds shields, some additional other options for medieval armor crafting. Also some professions based off various armies throughout antiquity, the middle ages, and in a couple cases the early modern period.

Do you guys know any medieval mod or any medieval fantasy mod or both do you guys know any?????😐
Back in the old days there was a medieval mod made by me that used to be in-repo. A good chunk of it was mainlined but what was left was obsoleted and removed due to no one else being willing to maintain it. Its intended successor, now with even more content, is here: https://github.com/chaosvolt/cdda_medieval_mod_reborn
